Description

Now, you could probably get this recipe straight from the back of a packet of Old El Paso Tortillas, but heres how I make 'em :)

Ingredients

1 packet Old El Paso Tortillas
1 brown onion (chopped)
1 packet (500g) minced beef
1 packet Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
3/4 Cup Water
1 Jar Old El Paso Taco Sauce (you can get mild... I prefer hot)
1 punnet cherry tomatoes (cut into halves)
1 head of lettuce (shredded)
A bowl of shredded cheese

Instructions

1. Brown the onions in a pot
2. Add the mince and cook until brown
3. Add packet of Old El Paso Taco seasoning and the water
4. Mix until the sauce thickens (about 5 mins)
5. Put all the ingredients in bowls, lay them out on the table and then see who can build the best Tortillas!

Notes

If you are a true Tortilla fan, you will know that order of ingredients is everything... here's how I do it:
- Beef
- Cheese
- Taco Sauce
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce

There is an art to folding these bad boys... Lay it out like I've done in the pic, then fold the bottom of the tortilla up, pin it there and then wrap the sides around. If you can eat the whole thing without spilling any of it out the sides, then you've done a stellar job :)
