Chocolate cover bannana

Description

Chocolate covered fruits the ideas are endless

Ingredients

12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips or morsels or a 10-ounce bar of dark chocolate
bannanas
1 tsp cooking oil (olive works well) this is to make it shine
Coconut flakes (optional)
Crushed pistachios, peanuts or any nut you like (optional)
Sprinkles (optional)
Melted white chocolate (optional)
creshed oreos (optional)
mini chocolate chips, peanut butter or other chips as well (optional)
powdered sugar (optional)
cinnamon and sugar mixture (optional)

Instructions

Slice the bannana into a 1/4 to 1/2 inch in lenth and place onto wax paper
in a double boiler melt chocolate and stir in oil remove from heat
put the different toppings into bowls so that you can roll around the bannana to cover it
use a fork to dip the bannana into the chocolate and then into the topping wanted or can leave it plain

Notes

it is best to leave a little fruit showing at the top so that you can keep track of which one you are eating

can use this with strawberries, peanut butter and cherries
can use any chocolate you choose
the oil is just for the shine can use butter as well
