Brown Sugar & Almond Porridge

Serves 3

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
2 cups water
pinch salt
3 tbspns brown sugar
handful of slivered almonds

Instructions

in a large pot, add the oats, water & salt.
stir over medium heat until it comes to the boil, stirring continuosly.
simmer for 3-5 mins, stirring occasionally.
take off the heat & stir thru brown sugar & slivered almonds.
Serve with milk & extra sugar if desired.
